Ogden Clinic and Friends Raise $13,000 for Shadow Valley Elementary
Ogden, Utah, (June 3, 2010) - Ogden Clinic partnered with Shadow Valley Elementary to raise approximately $13,000 for the school's educational programs during the second annual Ogden Clinic 5K and one-mile run on May 1, 2010.
More than 500 participants signed up to run the 5K and one-mile routes including students, staff and community members. The money raised during the event will be used to purchase supplies and equipment for the school's Environmental Science Studies program for current and future students' use.
"We want to thank all those that attended and showed their support," said Gordon Bradberry, marketing director at Ogden Clinic. "We are very pleased with the way the community came together to help education efforts for the children."
