Procedures / Treatments

  • Abscess Draining Abscesses are tender and painful masses on the surface of skin. They are generally pink to deep red in color. Common abscess sites include the armpit (axillae), the base of the spine, anus, or around hair follicles.
  • Asthma Management There is no cure for asthma, but symptoms can be managed with medication and lifestyle adaptations. Your Ogden Clinic physician can also educate you about asthma triggers that can worsen your symptoms.
  • Congestive Heart Failure Congestive heart failure occurs when the heart does not pump enough oxygen to meet the body’s needs. When the heart’s pumping power decreases it can cause fatigue, shortness of breath, swelling, and other symptoms. Experts at Ogden Clinic are trained to diagnose and manage congestive heart failure.
  • DOT Physical Exam A Department of Transportation physical exam must be performed by a licensed DOT medical examiner to qualify for a DOT medical certificate and a commercial drivers license (CDL).
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG) Test EKG testing is used to check the heart’s electrical activity. The test can help determine the cause of unexplained chest pain or pressure, diagnose diseases, or check the heart health of patients with existing heart conditions.
  • Ingrown Toenail Our providers can address ingrown toenails that are infected or painful.
  • Intravenous Therapy Intravenous (within-vein) is the fastest way to deliver medications throughout the body. This method is used to correct electrolyte imbalances, perform blood transfusion, or as fluid replacement for dehydration.
  • Laceration Repair Minor skin wounds such as animal bites and deep punctures can be repaired in-office. Depending on the nature/size of the laceration, our professionals will use sutures, staples, or tissue adhesives in an outpatient setting.
  • Mole Biopsy Suspicious moles should be evaluated by a medical professional who can determine if they are cancerous. During mole biopsy, all or part of the mole is removed for laboratory analysis.
  • Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy OMT therapy is hands-on care that is performed by an osteopathic physician. Treatment is used to diagnose, treat and prevent illnesses/injury by gently moving muscles and joints (stretching, pressure, resistance, etc.)
  • Spirometry Test Spirometry is a test used to measure the amount of air inhaled and exhaled. This test is used to assess how well the lungs are functioning.
  • Wart Removal Painful or embarrassing warts can be removed several ways. We perform cryotherapy, chemical peels, or even minor surgery to remove warts. Medication is also effective depending on the size and type of wart.
