Education and Background
Mike completed his Physician Assistant training in 2003 from a NCCPA accredited program, Rocky Mountain College of Allied Health. Mike is experienced in orthopedic medicine, but also completed internships in Family Practice, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Surgery, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine while attending PA school.
Mike served in the United States Army as a Special Operations Medical Specialist, trained in survival in many different environments from desert to jungle.
He has been teaching wilderness medicine and has certified many medical professionals with the AWLS certificate. He is associated with the organization of WMU (Wilderness Medicine of Utah).
Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He loves the outdoors and anything having to do with activity in the great out doors. He has also recently picked up the hobby of flying scale model RC planes.
