Education and Background
Dr. Lyons received his Medical Degree from the University of Vermont. He completed a three-year Internal Medicine Residency at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston and a three-year Dermatology Residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He also subsequently completed a one-year fellowship in the study of melanoma (mole cancer) and pigmented lesions (moles and atypical moles) at the University of California at San Francisco and a one-year fellowship in Dermatopathology at the University of Texas, Southwest Medical Center in Dallas. Prior to coming to Ogden, Dr. Lyons served as a dermatologist teaching dermatology residents at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire and at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He enjoys the Ogden Clinic because the multi-specialty clinic setting helps keep him appraised of changes in other areas of medicine, which impact dermatology.
Dr. Lyons enjoys spending free time outdoors with his family.
