Education and Background
Born and raised in Alabama, James came to Utah in 1984 to attend college on an athletic scholarship. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a medic for four years then attended medical lab school for the Air Force in California and Texas. James moved back to Utah in 1991 and graduated from the University of Utah Physician Assistant program in 1999.
James is happily married to his wife Debi, and they have two sons, Arik and Kyle. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball and coaching youth sports. He has recently found an interest in woodworking and has enjoyed building several things for his home.
