Procedures / Treatments

  • Adenoidectomy Your Ogden Clinic ear, nose and throat (ENT) physician may recommend a number of tests to confirm adenoiditis, including endoscopy, computed tomography (CT) scan, or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). If antibiotics are ineffective, or if you suffer from chronic adenoiditis (three or more times in a calendar year), your Ogden Clinic physician may perform adenoidectomy surgery (removal of your adenoids).
  • Allergy Testing Skin or blood allergy testing used to determine the cause and treatment of allergy symptoms.
  • BPPV (Vertigo) Also known as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, is a disorder stemming from the inner ear which causes a dizzy or spinning sensation.
  • Ear Tubes Ear tube surgery is a very common procedure at Ogden Clinic (often lasting less than ten minutes) in which pressure equalization tubes are inserted into the eardrum to help ventilate and equalize the pressure in the middle ear.
  • Rhinoplasty Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure performed by a specially trained surgeon that reshapes the nose.
  • Sinus CT scan Also known as computed tomography, is a diagnostic imaging test that uses x-rays to create detailed pictures of air-filled spaces in the face (sinuses).
  • Thyroid Disorders Nearly all thyroid disorders can be diagnosed based upon symptoms, physical exam, and simple blood tests to measure the levels of thyroid hormone.
  • Tonsillectomy If you continue to suffer from chronic or recurring tonsillitis (three or more times per year), your Ogden Clinic ENT might recommend surgery for the removal of your tonsils (tonsillectomy). Your Ogden Clinic ENT will perform the tonsillectomy as an outpatient procedure lasting between 30 and 45 minutes. You’ll likely be able to go home within four hours after the procedure is complete.
  • Vocal Cord Injections Also known as a laryngoplasty, is a procedure that provides support to a vocal cord and is critical in restoring voice function.
