Education and Background
Dr. Whipple received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. He completed his Internship at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan and his Surgical Residency at Hurley Medical Center and St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Prior to attending Medical School, Dr. Whipple completed a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University. He has been on the faculty of both the College of Human Medicine and Veterinary Medicine at Michigan Sate. More recently, he has earned a Master of Medical Management degree from Tulane University.
Dr. Whipple loves to ski and hike with his family, friends, and dog. He has been active in numerous medical and community groups.
