Education and Background
Catherine Ortega has been practicing pediatric medicine for the past twelve years. She came to Utah 25 years ago to attend the University of Utah. Prior to practicing pediatrics, and after obtaining her masters degree, Catherine practiced in the mental health system for ten years. During that time, she found her greatest joy was working with children. She is delighted to currently be working beside Dr. Mindy Boehm and looks forward to seeing her patients on a day-to-day basis.
Catherine possesses a great love for children and the greatest joys in life are her family and friends with a special affection towards her granddaughters, Alyesia and Danielle. Additionally, she has a strong interest in fitness, reading, and most of all, enjoying life.
