Practice Philosophy
My goal is to treat each of my patients as if they were my family member. I have found that medicine is most successful when it is treated as a provider/patient partnership. It is my job to educate the patient and then allow them to participate in the decisions that affect their life.
Education and Background
Kolleen received her undergraduate degree close to home at Weber State University, then traveled to Downer’s Grove IL, where she earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from Midwestern University.
Since graduating in 2003, Kolleen moved back home to Utah to practice near family and friends. She has spent the past four years working in Family Practice in Layton and Magna and has greatly enjoyed the many patient and provider relationships.
Kolleen has a wonderful husband, Matt, and three beautiful daughters, Brittney, Ally and Cedar. She spends most of her spare time (and money) on scrapbooking, but also enjoys cooking, camping, volleyball, and spending time with family.
