Practice Philosophy
I really believe in the multidimensional approach to superior patient care that includes excellent communication, current evidence-based treatment techniques, highly-individualized rehabilitation programs, and proper education in regards to all aspects of patient care and rehabilitation. Ultimately, my main goal is to help educate and assist the patient in achieving their optimal functional level.
Education and Background
Marty attended North Dakota State University (Fargo, ND) where he received his Bachelors degree in Athletic Training. He also recently completed his Associates of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Salt Lake Community College. Marty stays very active in continuing education focusing his attention on Orthopedics and Sports Medicine topics. Marty is also a Master Assessor for Utah’s Weight Management Program that focuses on encouraging healthy weight management practices by interscholastic wrestlers.
Marty grew up in central North Dakota and has resided in Utah since 2003. His hobbies include hiking, camping, and most outdoor activities. He also enjoys watching college football and auto racing. Marty’s future endeavors include hiking the entire John Muir Trail and attempting to summit Mt. McKinley. He loves to spend all of his free time with his son, Kaiden (3).
