Education and Background
Sue Hastings has an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Brigham Young University, a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Utah, and a Masters Degree as a Physician Assistant from the University of Utah. She practiced for eighteen years as a Registered Nurse prior to becoming a Physician Assistant. For seven years, she did research into perinatal genetic abnormalities, and in 1998 was given one of eight awards for research excellence by the Society of Perinatal Obstetricians. She practiced as a Physician Assistant in Urgent Care and the Emergency Room for the last year and one half in the rural community of Goldendale, Washington.

Mrs. Hastings is married and the mother of four sons, and has three grandsons. She is happy to be back in Utah and working in Family Practice.
