Education and Background
Dr. Walter Smith completed his undergraduate work in ultrasonography at Weber State University, his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, and his Radiology Residency from Michigan State University. He also completed an MRI fellowship and has been practicing as a Radiologist in Lansing, Michigan for the past 8 years. Dr. Smith’s professional focus has been MRI, CT, ultrasonography and arthrography. Dr. Smith is a member of the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology and is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
Dr. Smith is from southern Oregon and his wife, Nanette, is from Northern Utah. They have five children and are excited to be in Utah, closer to extended family. In his spare time, Dr. Smith enjoys golfing, the great outdoors and spending time with his family.
