- Arthroscopic Surgery Arthroscopic joint surgery is a surgical procedure Ogden Clinic orthopedic surgeons use to visualize, diagnose, and treat problems inside a joint. Arthroscopic procedures may be used to treat many conditions such as torn cartilage, ACL reconstruction, torn surface cartilage, and trimming damaged cartilage.
- Breast Reconstruction A surgery performed by a plastic surgeon to restore a breast following a mastectomy.
- Laparoscopic Surgery Laparoscopic surgery, also known as minimally invasive surgery, is a specialized technique for performing surgery using a laparoscope (camera and instruments) through a few small incisions.
- Laproscopic Hernia Repairs Also known as laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, this method of hernia surgery fixes tears or openings in the abdominal wall by using small incisions and laparoscopes.

Interests
Dr. Garvey earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Utah and has been performing surgery for nearly twenty years. After completing an internship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, went on to complete a General Surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center where she was Chief Resident.
Dr. Garvey is currently Chief of Surgery and Trauma Medical Director at Ogden Regional Medical Center. Along with her expertise in general surgery, Dr. Garvey is also skilled to perform emergency and trauma surgery for patients in Ogden and the surrounding areas.
In her free time, Dr. Garvey enjoys bicycling and snowboarding. She is a Utah native and loves to take advantage of Utah’s recreational offerings.
