Procedures / Treatments

  • ADHD Carefully monitored medication combined with cognitive-behavioral therapy helps to improve ADD/ADHD in children and adults.
  • Casting Orthopedic casting is the most effective way to treat a fracture or a broken bone. Ogden Clinic specialists use cotton and fiberglass bandages to immobilize injuries and promote recovery.
  • Childhood Obesity Childhood obesity is one of the most prevalent medical conditions of our time, and the prevalence continues to increase at an alarming rate. Obese and overweight children are likely to stay obese as they age, making them far more likely to develop cardiovascular disease and diabetes at a younger age.
  • Circumcision Circumcision in the male is the removal of the foreskin of the penis, which is an optional choice. At birth, the foreskin (sometimes called the prepuce) is attached to the end of the penis, an area known as the glans. The American Academy of Pediatrics’ Circumcision Policy Statement reports that the preventive health benefits of elective circumcision of male newborns outweigh the risks.
  • Ear Infection Ear tube surgery is a very common procedure at Ogden Clinic (often lasting less than ten minutes) in which pressure equalization tubes are inserted into the eardrum to help ventilate and equalize the pressure in the middle ear.
  • Mental Health Mental health disorders including depression and anxiety can be improved with cognitive-behavioral therapy, relaxation techniques, lifestyle coaching, and closely-monitored medication to regulate serotonin in the brain.
  • Mole Biopsy Suspicious moles should be evaluated by a medical professional who can determine if they are cancerous. During mole biopsy, all or part of the mole is removed for laboratory analysis.
  • Newborn Care Going home with a new baby is exciting, but it can also be nerve-wracking. In order to prepare, it’s a good idea to start looking for a pediatrician about three months before your baby is due.
  • Sports Physical Examination Specialists at Ogden Clinic offices across Utah offer sports physical examinations for athletes of all ages and fitness abilities. Contact our team today to schedule your appointment.
  • Tongue Tie Release (Frenotomy) Tongue tie is when the bottom of the tongue is attached to the floor of the mouth. When a child is tongue-tied, they have a short or tight frenulum, which is the tiny piece of skin that connects the bottom jaw to the lower lip.
  • Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) Urinary tract infections occur when bacteria, usually from the skin or rectum, enter the urethra and infect the urinary tract.
  • Wart Removal Painful or embarrassing warts can be removed several ways. We perform cryotherapy, chemical peels, or even minor surgery to remove warts. Medication is also effective depending on the size and type of wart.
  • Well Child Checkups The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) developed a set of comprehensive health guidelines for well-child care that are conducted during well child checkups. These routine visits include growth and development monitoring, preventative care, and vaccinations if needed.
