Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is a disorder characterized by extreme fatigue or exhaustion. This fatigue does not go away with sleep and cannot always be explained by an underlying medical condition, though chronic fatigue has been linked to and metabolic syndrome.

Brittany Kester was raised in South Weber, Utah. She attended Weber State University for her undergraduate education in Athletic Training. After graduating magna cum laude from Weber State, she went on to the University of Utah to receive her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree.
Brittany’s professional interests include addressing orthopedic injuries for patients of all ages and women’s health. She’s gained experience in a variety of settings including physical therapy clinics, orthopedics, primary care, and urgent care facilities. She even administered urgent care in one of the most unpredictable places in America—Yellowstone National Park.
In her free time, Brittany loves to paddleboard, snow shoe, camp, and hike with her husband Kayleb and their three dogs (her girls.) She also enjoys boxing and yoga.
Brittany Kester and her mom, Naomi Harris, are both Ogden Clinic providers. But outside the office, they’re avid dog lovers with five rescued pets between them. Brittany and Naomi share what their dogs bring to their life in this Health Inspired | Life Inspired segment.
