Procedures / Treatments

  • Acne Treatment Depending on the type, location, and severity of your acne, Ogden Clinic dermatologists use a number of treatment plans. These include topical medication, oral medication, or a combination of the two.
  • Botox Cosmetic BOTOX® - a cosmetic medication that is injected into muscles to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines and wrinkles that are located on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and "crow’s-feet" around the outer corners of the eyes.
  • CoolSculpting A non-surgical fat reduction treatment that utilizes controlled cooling to destroy fat cells.
  • Cosmetic Dermatology Cosmetic & laser services that are designed to rejuvenate and restore skin.
  • Dermaplaning and Chemical Peels A form of skin exfoliation that removes the outermost layer of dead skin cells along with the fine hairs on the face (peach fuzz).
  • Filler Injections Dermal filler injections reduce wrinkles and creases on the face, replace lost volume, reshape the face, and define the lips.
  • Hair Loss Injections Platelet-rich plasma injection was developed to help people recover from joint injuries, but it has also been shown to regrow lost hair.
  • HydraFacial HydraFacial extracts impurities from the skin while hydrating and protecting it from future damage.
  • Laser Skincare Procedures Skin resurfacing procedures that are used to improve the skin's appearance (fine lines, wrinkles, scars, sun damages spots, etc.).
  • Lesion Removal Large lesions or lesions in sensitive areas can be removed surgically with local numbing. For minor lesions such as warts, Ogden Clinic specialists can extract them with liquid nitrogen (cryotherapy) or salicylic acid.
  • Micrographic Surgery A dermatology surgery that is performed by a specially trained surgeon. The procedure is the most effective and advanced treatment for skin cancer and offers the highest potential for cure.
  • Microneedling Microneedling is a skin rejuvenation procedure used on patients who wish to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and scars on the face and body.
  • Microneedling (Morpheus8) Ogden Clinic dermatologists use InMode Morpheus8 microneedling (powered by Embrace RF) promote collagen production as an aging skin treatment.
  • miraDry® A non-surgical treatment for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) that destroys sweat glands and reduces sweating in the underarm area.
  • Mohs Surgery A tissue-saving technique for patients with skin cancer. Cancerous skin is removed one layer at a time and examined until the cancer is no longer present. This method is very effective for cancerous growth on the face, neck, and scalp.
  • Mole Biopsy Suspicious moles should be evaluated by a medical professional who can determine if they are cancerous. During mole biopsy, all or part of the mole is removed for laboratory analysis.
  • Non-surgical Face Lift (InMode Facetite) FaceTite offers an alternative to the traditional facelift because it is much less invasive and takes less time. FaceTite may be performed without anesthesia and is completed in under an hour.
  • Scar Treatment Scars form as part of the healing process when the dermis (skin) is damaged. The body forms new collagen fibers to fix the damage. Unfortunately, these new collagen fibers don’t have the same quality and texture as the surrounding skin – thus, these collagen fibers become visible scars.
  • Skin Tags Skin tags are a relatively common annoyance, usually presenting themselves on the head and neck area. It is unclear how or why skin tags develop, but they become more and more common as we age – 60% of people 70 years or older have multiple skin tags at any given time.
  • Vein Ablation A minimally invasive technique that destroys varicose leg veins using a radiofrequency energy to heat and damage the vein walls.
