David Cope, MD

Board President

David Cope, MD​Dr. David Cope received his undergraduate education from Weber State University. He studied medicine at University of Nevada, then completed a residency at University of Utah School of Medicine. For 25+ years, Dr. Cope conducted his own practice in Bountiful before joining Ogden Clinic’s Family Medicine team. In his free time, Dr. Cope enjoys being outdoors: hiking, camping, skiing and backpacking. He is also fluent in Afrikaans after serving an LDS mission in South Africa.

Amber Vegh, MD

Board Vice President

Nadim Bikhazi​Dr. Amber Vegh is a board certified OB/GYN that performs the full spectrum of gynecology and obstetrics, with a special interest in minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Vegh is originally from Arizona, but her education has taken her all over the country. She went to the military for medical school (in Bethesda Maryland), followed by a residency in Hawaii, and time spent in Germany, Iraq, Washington, Missouri, and Arizona. She has been married for over a decade and has four young children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and golfing.

Kelly Amann, DO

Board Member

Kelly Amann, DO​Dr. Amann received his Bachelor of Science in pre-med/biology from the University of Utah. He enrolled at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, fulfilling requirements for his medical degree in 1998. He completed a three-year Family Residency at the Riverside Osteopathic Hospital/Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. While completing his residency requirements, Dr. Amann was named Chief Intern, Intern of the Year, and Chief Resident. During his Residency, he started a clinic specializing in chronic musculoskeletal injury. His training includes Pediatrics, Women's Health, Preventative Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Nutrition.

Megan Grunander, MD, FACS

Megan Grunander, MD, FACS​Dr. Megan Grunander received her undergraduate degree from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. She studied medicine at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City graduating in 2005. Dr. Grunander went on completed her Internship in General Surgery at UCSF in 2006, with a Fellowship in Trauma/Surgical Critical Care at Cedars-Sinai in 2009, followed by her Residency in General Surgery Harbor - UCLA in 2011. Dr. Megan Wolthuis Grunander grew up in Ogden. Dr. Grunander enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She also enjoys traveling, snow & water skiing, wakeboarding and running.

Scott Rynearson, DO

Scott Rynearson, DO​Dr. Scott Rynearson has been a practicing OB/GYN at Ogden Clinic since 2014. A graduate of BYU, he studied at A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine before his residency and internship at Ohio University Doctors Hospital. Some of his clinical interests are minimally-invasive robotic surgery and obstetrics. Overseeing healthy pregnancies and delivering babies brings him joy. In his free time, Dr. Rynearson is a huge sports fan and especially loves baseball and golf. A father of five, he and his family love to be active in church and spend time together.

Robert Wayment, MD

Board Member

Robert Wayment, MD​Raised on a dairy farm in Warren, Utah, Dr. Robert Wayment went to the University of Utah for his undergraduate education. He completed his Urology Residency at Southern Illinois School of medicine where he also trained extensively in da Vinci robotic surgery. Dr. Wayment has a strong interest in lifestyle conditions like kidney stone removal and erectile dysfunction. He also enjoys addressing diseases of the prostate, bladder, and kidneys. In his free time, Dr. Wayment enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
