Jennifer Crafton attended Marquette University for her undergraduate education. Afterward, she moved to Tucson, Arizona, and met her husband. The two started a family and moved to Utah in 2001. Jennifer fell in love with Utah and decided to stay here permanently.
Jennifer worked as a registered nurse (RN) for 25 years and returned to school when her children were seniors in high school. She completed her Master’s degree at Maryville University and became board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
During her career as a nurse, she’d worked in a variety of settings including cardiology, CCU, telemetry, medical-surgical, outpatient surgery, rehabilitation, home health and hospice. As a Family Nurse Practitioner in Bountiful, Jennifer enjoys working with individuals of all ages and especially enjoys older adults and geriatrics. She loves teaching and working with individuals on prevention, wellness, and managing chronic conditions.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, reading, learning, watching movies, doing puzzles, and spending time in the mountains hiking and camping. Her dogs, chickens, and large garden also keep her busy.
We all know the importance of eating right, exercising, and getting enough sleep. But nothing is guaranteed – even if you’re doing everything right, you can still be at risk for various ailments and illnesses. With that in mind, we sat down with Jennifer Crafton, FNP-C, to ask which medical tests we should be sure to have done on a regular basis.
