Cara Munson, RDN

About

Cara Munson lived in Utah from 1998 to 2011 while she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Brigham Young University and her internship with Utah State University. After graduating, she found work opportunities in Colorado. She's excited to be back in Utah; since she lives in Layton, she's able to drive to the mountains or the downtown area in less than an hour.

Cara is an important part of Ogden Clinic's Medical Weight Loss team: A group of providers who help patients maintain their weight and healthy lifestyles. Her clinical interests are weight management, maternal and child nutrition, functional nutrition, and chronic disease prevention. Cara is passionate about helping individuals and families meet their health goals. In addition to her expertise as a Dietitian, Cara is also an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and enjoys that aspect of healthcare as well.

Outside of the office, you can find Cara outdoors. She loves a variety of outdoor activities, especially running, hiking, and paddleboarding. Her favorite way to spend a day is outside with all four of her kids.
