Julia Johansson, MD

Dr. Julia Johansson is a board-certified OB/GYN at Circle of Life Specialty Center, providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to women across Ogden, Northern Utah, and Weber County since 2003. With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Johansson brings deep expertise in general obstetrics and gynecology, infertility, adolescent gynecology, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

Dr. Johansson's surgical skill was recognized early in her career when she received a national award for laparoscopic surgery during her residency — a distinction that reflects her commitment to precision and patient safety. Following her residency, she joined Abington OB/GYN, where she built a thriving practice while contributing to resident physician education.

Her dedication to medical education earned her prestigious recognition, including the OB/GYN Teaching Physician of the Year award in 1998 and a special hospital commendation in 1999 for her contributions to the teaching of operative delivery with forceps — a highly specialized obstetric skill.

After spending most of her life on the East Coast, Dr. Johansson relocated to Utah in 2003 with her husband and two children, and has been a trusted women's healthcare provider at Circle of Life Specialty Center in the Ogden area ever since.
