Keith Elkins, MD

About

Keith Elkins, MD, is a board certified physician in both Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine and has over 13 years of experience as a physician. He graduated from Ross University School of Medicine in Edison, NJ/Dominica West Indies in 2004, and completed his Family Medicine residency at Mercy Health Systems in Janesville, WI.

As a rural medicine physician in the North woods of Wisconsin, his practice included the full spectrum of care including pediatrics, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. In addition, he also has worked in Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Elkins believes that a good doctor-patient relationship is a partnership with many paths to well-being. It is his position to offer evidence based information and help the patient apply that to their individual condition, needs, and goals.

He was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, and has lived in the West Indies, Indiana and most recently Wisconsin. He is excited to be back in Utah to explore the mountains, enjoy the Utah outdoors, and be with family again. When he isn’t at the clinic, Dr. Elkins also enjoys white water kayaking, beekeeping, and hiking.
