Matthew Morrell, PA-C

About

Matthew Morrell is a certified physician assistant with a background in sports medicine and emergency care. He earned his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Utah State University and then completed his Physician Assistant training at Saint Louis University. After graduation, he gained valuable experience working in the emergency department at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.

Matthew is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and holds additional certifications in PALS, ACLS, and BLS. His clinical interests center on orthopedics and sports medicine, particularly helping athletes of all ages return to play and full functional activity. His passion for this specialty began after tearing his ACL as a high school athlete—a pivotal experience that inspired his career in medicine.

A native of Northern Utah, Matthew grew up in Fruit Heights and is excited to serve his local community. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with family, playing basketball, volleyball, and pickleball, and getting outdoors to ski, hike, and camp.
