About
Sheryl Bingham, DNP, FNP-C, is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers women to take an active role in their health. She is committed to creating a respectful and supportive environment where patients feel heard, valued, informed, and confident in their care. Sheryl provides care for women throughout adolescence, early adulthood, the childbearing years, and the menopause transition, with a focus on individualized treatment plans that support long-term health and quality of life.
Sheryl has a special interest in perimenopause and menopause management and understands the wide-ranging effects hormonal changes can have on a woman’s physical and emotional health. She provides education and individualized treatment options for symptoms such as hot flashes, sleep disturbances, mood changes, fatigue, brain fog, changes in libido, vaginal and urinary symptoms, and changes in bone and muscle health. Her approach emphasizes thoughtful risk-benefit discussions and evidence-based treatment options, including hormone replacement therapy when appropriate.
Sheryl also specializes in compassionate, comprehensive obesity management. She recognizes obesity as a complex, chronic medical condition influenced by genetics, hormones, metabolism, medications, lifestyle, and other factors. Her approach goes beyond diet and exercise to address nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress, behavioral health, and, when appropriate, evidence-based anti-obesity medications. She also considers hormonal and metabolic conditions that may affect weight and overall health, including polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS, previously known as PCOS), insulin resistance, thyroid disorders, pregnancy, perimenopause, and menopause.
Sheryl believes successful healthcare begins with a strong partnership between the patient and provider. Her goal is to provide women with the education, support, and personalized care they need to make informed decisions about their health and feel empowered throughout every stage of life.
In her spare time, Sheryl enjoys spending time with her family, biking, hiking, and skiing together.
