About
Steve Mayer is a Family Nurse Practitioner with special expertise in treating the back, neck and spine. He completed his nursing education at Weber State University before attending Samford University where he earned his FNP in 2014.
Steve was born and raised in Clinton, UT. He graduated from Clearfield High School and served an LDS mission in North Carolina. He worked as a Chiropractor and ran his own clinic for 14 years and, after completing more schooling, he became a Nurse Practitioner assisting in Neurosurgery. When it comes to Steve’s approach to care, he believes the patient/provider relationships should be viewed as a partnership. He treats people as a whole and focuses on the person, rather than the condition, to produce the best outcomes.
When he is not in the clinic, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is excited to be working at Ogden Clinic helping patients pursue healthy and productive lives.
