Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is a disorder characterized by extreme fatigue or exhaustion. This fatigue does not go away with sleep and cannot always be explained by an underlying medical condition, though chronic fatigue has been linked to and metabolic syndrome.

Dr. John Hemmersmeier enjoys the full scope of family medicine from pediatrics to senior care and everything in between. Preventing illness with health maintenance programs is among his clinical interests, but Dr. Hemmersmeier also helps patients manage chronic conditions.
After receiving his medical training from University of Utah School of Medicine, Dr. Hemmersmeier completed his internship and residency at Duke University Medical Center, one of the top medical centers in the country.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Hemmersmeier enjoys biking, hiking, and spending time with his family.
