Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is a disorder characterized by extreme fatigue or exhaustion. This fatigue does not go away with sleep and cannot always be explained by an underlying medical condition, though chronic fatigue has been linked to and metabolic syndrome.

Monica Martinez is a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in many different settings such as acute care, public health, and outpatient settings. She loves educating and building rapport with her patients and families with diverse backgrounds while effectively diagnosing, evaluating, and creating treatment plans for them. Monica did her undergraduate education locally at Weber State University before attending University of Phoenix for her Master’s degree.
In her spare time, Monica enjoys hiking to lakes and bodies of water. It challenges her physical limits and rewards her with an extraordinary view and a feeling of accomplishment. She also loves socializing with friends and family, snuggling up in her PJs, and watching a good movie.
