Ally Doxey, PA-C

Raised in northern Minnesota on 30 acres of rural farmland, Ally Doxey has always been an avid outdoors person and skier. She got the itch to explore the west and moved to Salt Lake City to study at the University of Utah. After graduating, Ally worked for three years as a medical assistant at Cope Family Medicine | Ogden Clinic where she found her passion for family medicine. In 2019, she pursued her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. As a family medicine provider, Ally has a great interest in preventative medicine for patients of all ages and feels passionate about providing a safe, open space for patients of all backgrounds to receive care specifically tailored to their needs. She is specially trained in Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) – an evidence-based to help reduce and prevent health consequences, disease, accidents, and injuries related to alcohol and recreational drug use.

Ally knew she wanted to set roots in Utah and is excited to return to Cope Family Medicine | Ogden Clinic as a Physician Assistant. Between cheering on the Utes and caring for patients along the Wasatch Front, there is no place where she feels more like home.

When not in the clinic seeing patients, Ally loves to hike, camp, and explore the National Parks with her husband and dog, Taco. As it stands, she has been to nearly half of the National Parks and hopes to see them all eventually. Ally’s an avid skier, reader, and basketball fanatic who will always root for the Timberwolves …sorry Jazz fans!
